Hello everyone, as you may have noticed updates to Semper Est have halted. This was unintentional as the later half of 2024 consumed a lot of my time for various reasons.  I cannot promise any timelines for updates  due to my current life situation, but I am finally able to start returning to work on this project even if it's just a little bit.

You may be wondering what this has to do with Otome Jam 2025, especially since I have no game updates for everyone. Well, post SuNoFes 2024, I needed some time to recuperate my creative thoughts as August 2024 was a bad time, so I've been trying to find projects to work on where I'm not in so many roles.  One of those projects released a concept for Otome Jam 2025, so if you're interested to see where my art is at and where it may be heading, you can check out Dragon King's Barista!

Last update I mentioned the post mortem was being worked on, however that is postponed for now as I originally intended for it to be all encompassing, but that's just unrealistic. For the most part I wanted to use it to thank my teammates (again) because they were all wonderful and are a large part of what let Semper Est come to fruition. So for now, a big thank you to:

Sofy, who programmed and coded the game system, UI, and cinematics. She was a pleasure to work with and responsive to all the changes along the way!

Alan, who composed some beautiful tracks I still think about to this day and really makes the atmosphere in every scene.

Tusych, who illustrated all the many backgrounds and even the last minute ones.

Jin and Roh, who made the beautiful opening CG and main menu illustration, respectively. If you made it to the end of the demo, Roh also illustrated the chibi Phillian!

I didn't intend on being away from this project for so long, but I look forward to returning and bringing Semper Est into what I envisioned. There will be a lot of overhaul, so expect some changes! (Namely for the UI, art direction, and some narrative differences).
